ASHS will apply the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License to all journals we published from 2023.

By default, we will publish our open access articles under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial No Derivatives (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). CC BY-NC-ND allows users to download and share the article for non-commercial purposes, so long as the article is reproducing in its entirety without changes, and the original authors are acknowledged.

If you have any requests for license management other than CC BY-NC-ND, please contact each editorial office.

The copyright of Open Access articles is retained by the authors. Authors grant to ASHS, an unlimited license to publish the article under a Creative Commons License and identify to ASHS as the original publisher. Submission of an article for publication implies the authors' consent to publication under the applicable Creative Commons License and the terms and conditions of the Publisher's Licensing Agreement.
